We will have Space Elevator events in the Seattle area ongoing. We post at http://community.liftport.com/calendar and join discussions at http://community.facebook.com. We expect to have a robotics event in March, and the ISEC.org Space Elevator Games in September. We participate in hackathons ongoing. A list is at http://facebook.com/LiftPortal.

Hey Seattle! I am meeting with Yasaman (listed above) this evening to discuss how we might be able to get this off the ground in Seattle. I forgot about this wiki page so I apologize to the people listed here and will reach out to see if you are still interested in working on a Seattle Science Hack Day.
