Science Hack Day Cambridge

I'm quite interested to make this a 'hack' beyond just the computer sense, and get a few challenges like 'How far can you shoot a Barbie Doll on a machine you make from x pounds" (health and safety requirments ofcourse). All the projects would then be great for demoing good science.

I'd be intetrested- especially if it's focused away from computers. Preferably either at a weekend or at least overlapping one. Never been to anything like this, but would like to. May have a tendacy to suggest that everything can be sorted by either gluing it or just duct taping it.
